Starting therapy, or starting with a new therapist, takes courage.
HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WHEN WE WORK TOGETHER
-
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about what's bringing you in, a bit about your history, and what you're hoping for. There's no pressure to share anything you're not ready for. Just as importantly, it's a chance for you to get a feel for whether this space feels right for you.

Therapeutic fit matters enormously. I encourage you to trust your gut. If after our first session something doesn't feel right, that's okay. Finding the right therapist is part of the process, and I'm happy to help connect you with other resources if needed.
Additionally, I’m happy to offer a free 15-minute discovery call prior to booking your initial session. Reach out for more info

Yes. I offer both in-person and online sessions.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a well-researched, highly effective approach for trauma. It doesn't require you to talk through difficult experiences in detail. Instead, it works with the brain's natural processing mechanisms to help stuck memories become integrated. Some clients find it to be one of the most effective things they've ever done. We'll discuss whether it's a good fit for you before we begin.

KAP uses a legal, medically supervised medication to support deeper psychological processing. It can be especially helpful for those who have found other approaches haven't moved the needle. I offer it as one of several tools, always with thorough preparation, careful attention, and ongoing integration support. We'll discuss this option together if it seems relevant to your goals.

There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients come for a focused period of work around a specific issue; others engage in longer-term therapy. We'll check in regularly about how things are progressing and what feels right for you.
